yeah, it's coming, I promise
Call it a lack of motivation, inspiration... call it what you will. Both probably true, though I HAVE been working on the pre-thought-out posts. They're just not ready to post yet. Truth is, I'v ebeen busy as hell at work, upgrading GTF computers, fixing hacked and network incapable machines, giving general advice, etc. I'm hardly in the office. And it's much more difficult to be distracted at Micro. ^^ But it's on the way. I just have to get motivated and stop reading other people's weblogs which, for some reason, has become of great interest to me.
Oh yeah, and I take back part of "number two" on the rules for a good weblog post below. You don't actually have to say something profound to keep a good diary, you just have to say something at all. It can be your weekend, your dream last night, what you had for dinner. The difference between just writing and writing well is how you say it. Any little thing can be written as an instant of clarity for you and your readers. If it was humorous, make it funny. If it was matter of fact, make it so. I guess it's the sort of "laundry list" or social calendar posts that make my eyes bleed. Your life is a book, even the most trite thing. Write it so.
In other news, here is my laundry list!:
I'm looking forward to Justin's mom coming down on Wednesday. She's taking us out for dinner. Mmm... Mekala's. Haven't had thai in TOO long! And Saturday Katie, Murray, and I are going to the Country Fair. I'm sad because I want to go with Sarah and Rachel too, but Murray's coming back 'special for this and I haven't seen him in a few weeks. : ) Maybe I could go both days, but that'd be expensive. (About $12 admission) I've also got to stop by the Saturday market this weekend to get one of my Renaissance bodices altered and commission an overskirt from one of the merchants there. Justin will be going to Seattle so I'll be sleeping lonely, but I've got plenty to do and good friends to keep me company. Maybe I'll crash at Katie and Murray's place but then Rupert would be sad. Another weekend without Toyoda Sushi. Next weekend I have my dive certification (Oregon Coast) and the St. Helen's ren fest the weekend after that. So long and no good raw fish. Le sigh.
