Plague Bearer
Another normal day. Did some grocery shopping as an attempt to save money and make my own sandwiches. I fear that the sandwiches will be WEIRD unfortunately. I also did a %$#^load of studying this weekend for a big test tomorrow so I'm going to call it a night and head to bed.
I'm concerned for my host family, however. Both my host parents are sick. They seem to have coughs and fevers. I'm really hoping that a) I didn't import some weird gaijin-germs from my dad's bronchial pnemonia or whatever (despite that he was on antibiotics for a while before I even came home) and b) that I don't get sick either. Nevertheless, the family seems to be functional, if only because mom has this massive box of meds from which they keep popping antibiotics, cough suppressants and other mysterious things. Apparently my host dad accidentally took my host mom's blood pressure medicine today when he was looking for cold supplies. Uh, oops.
I guess I just hope it doesn't turn out like the one time Alex came to visit and gave my whole family the black plague or something that took us all months to recover from. I laugh about it now, but back then when we were still hacking up lungs for weeks, it wasn't very funny.
Bleh.
